ABOUT THE EVENT

Messiah at the Sydney Opera House is one of Sydney's favourite musical traditions. And in 2026, all the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs join forces to bring you the grandeur and joyous optimism of Handel’s masterpiece.

The musical experience is sublime – baroque splendour married to the power of massed voices and full orchestra. The setting is superb – Sydney’s most beautiful concert hall. And the spiritual message is one of transcendent faith and uplifting joy.

Add a magnificent quartet of soloists and the stylish touch of conductor Elizabeth Scott, and you’re guaranteed a performance that will bring to your feet – Hallelujah!
