ABOUT THE EVENT
A little about Addi Road:
Working with the community, Addi Road elevates human rights, arts and culture, and sustainability.
Every week Addi Road diverts over 12 tonnes of food from landfill and provides food to more than 9,000 people at their two Addison Road Community Organisation Food Pantries and Food Relief Hubs.
What to expect:
Location: Addison Road Community Organisation, Marrickville
Time: Tuesday & Thursday mornings, 9am to 12pm (fortnightly sessions)
Session highlights:
Introduction: Begin at 9am with an insightful overview of Addi Road's impact and dreams for the future.
Volunteer tasks: Join our Addi Road chef to help cook delicious and nutritious meals made mostly from rescued ingredients to support vulnerable communities.
Tour: A guided tour of Addi Road's historic and bustling community space.
