Join our experienced tour guides as they take you on a fascinating journey through the history of this marvellous site.
Tours are delivered by volunteers from Friends of Waverley Cemeteries (FoWC), Our tours will give you insights into this NSW Heritage Listed site (opened in 1877) and its significance to Australian social history. Over the four walking tours offered you will hear the fascinating stories behind the world-famous Irish Memorial and the headstones of notable figures, from writers and artists to judges and criminals, from politicians and military leaders to sporting heroes.
