ABOUT THE EVENT
This event is proudly sponsored by the NSW Government.
Girls aged 12–16 are invited to come together for an afternoon of food, culture and connection. During the session, participants will cook together, talk about the stories, traditions and memories behind their food, and learn more about each other’s cultures. It’s a chance to make new friends, share a bunch of delicious dishes and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together. We’ll also pray Dhuhr together and explore Islamic knowledge and teachings related to food.
This is a free event and no cooking experience is required.
Allergen Notice: Please be aware that allergens including nuts, gluten, milk and sesame may be used during this event. Participants with allergies or dietary requirements should notify the organisers when registering.
