ABOUT THE EVENT
Join us for a hands-on creative workshop for neurodiverse young people aged 12-17 and their parent, carer or support person during Carers Week and Mental Health Month.
Working together, carers and young people will design and create their own lantern using a variety of art materials and creative techniques. This relaxing and hands- on activity provides an opportunity to connect, express creativity and spend quality time together in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The workshop is held at Diverse Art Therapy, a neuro-friendly and accessible studio. It's a welcoming space where participants can engage at their own pace and in a way that feels comfortable for them. No previous art experience is required, and participants are encouraged to explore their creativity while enjoying a calm and positive shared experience.
All materials and snacks will be provided.
